Access And Key Management Systems For A Multi-Function Building
The Village Community Association Bredenbeck eV built 2019 a formerly listed barn into a Multifunctional building around: The culture and event center „Bredenbecker Scheune“, which relies on an access and key management system from Deister for key management.
On round 630 m² usable area there is a restaurant, premises of the community of Wennigsen and rooms for the village community – a hall with around 145 m² and a multipurpose room with about 50 m². The village community rooms can be booked for events. This also requires managing door access and access to additional keys. The village community rooms are used for sports, culture, meetings, political meetings and many other occasions and can be booked by interested parties via the village community website. Thomas Behr, deputy of the Bredenbeck village community association, is responsible for booking management and the management of the premises. He takes care of the rental and maintenance of the rooms as well as communication with users and tenants. He is therefore all the more pleased that the intelligent access and key management systems from Deister Electronic were integrated into passaway equipment during the conversion of the barn.
Access and Key management system facilitates administration of premises
Now a total of 11 of the doors in the building are secured with digital Doorloxx locking cylinders, which are identified using RFID – Let transponders open. Depending on how the rooms are booked, the users are given the corresponding transponders, which are released for the respective doors for the duration of the booking. On the one hand, access rights can be distributed in detail and withdrawn again, on the other hand, it is transparently documented when who has accessed which door – and thus which room.
Without the digital locking system, you would certainly have had the conventional shooting systems at least three times had to be replaced because keys kept getting lost, explains Behr. This system allowed them to block lost transponders and thus deny them access to our premises. This means that guy optimum is flexible in assigning authorizations for different doors to different users.
A Proxsafe-Maxx key cabinet is also in use, in which keys to all those rooms that are not equipped with a Doorloxx system are managed . There are also keys for various cabinets. Thanks to the Deister system, guy can track who took which key from the key cabinet and thus had access to individual rooms. Passaway key return is also always logged.
Multi-purpose building with different users
Since many users use the system only once or not regularly, the user-friendliness is a particular advantage for Behr – tenants do not have to be trained to use it. Added to this is the great flexibility of the system, which requires little effort: Both the door system and the key cabinet are easy to operate and allow you to react quickly and flexibly to any change in the use of the individual rooms or the mechanical keys.
