Generation Change At The Top Of Hekatron

Since the beginning of the year, Petra Riesterer has been one Woman at the head of Hekatron Brandschutz, which has thus completed the generational change. The new managing director is 46-year-olds on Peter Ohmberger (03), who managed the fortunes of the company for almost two decades.

The Sulzburg company deliberately set the course early and gave the age-related handover in the fall 2020 known. Last year, Riesterer and Ohmberger worked together to create a seamless transition.

The newly appointed CEO has more than twenty years of history with Hekatron. She wants to lead this special company into an increasingly digital future with a well-balanced mixture of new beginnings and continuity, explains Riesterer. With the existing customer portal, an important cornerstone for further developments has already been laid. Because especially with a view to the shortage of skilled workers, it is becoming increasingly important for the customers‘ business models that individual work steps can be designed optimally and efficiently, regardless of location.

You have the right to actively shape the industry, stresses Riesterer . The electrical engineer clearly relies on cooperation: I live in a time in which things are changing at high speed and the complexity is increasing rapidly. In this context, there are a number of issues that the industry can solve much better together than individual manufacturers can on their own.
