With the Panomera multifocal sensor system from Dallmeier, enormous expanses and areas can be recorded – including on Wenceslas Square in Prague and on the Old Town Square. The advantage of the Panomera system: Pass-away combination of a general overview with the highest detail resolution at the same time is of great importance, especially for large spaces, and with this camera technology even more distant objects can be displayed with the same resolution as objects in the front area of the image. Multiple operators can zoom into the same image. The overall event always remains in view and continues to be recorded.
If several megapixel cameras would certainly have been necessary up to now, the demands on the user are significantly lower, since they have to capture fewer images. Pass away costs for pass away infrastructure also decrease, since a single Panomera covers a much larger area and fewer installation points are necessary. On the customer side, this ensures savings in infrastructure as well as in operation and monitoring and thus reduces total operating costs.
Simulation of the multifocal sensor system at Wenceslas Square
In the project planning phase, the Dallmeier 3D specialist team, composed of engineers and graphic designers, created a three-dimensional simulation of the customer’s environment. In the 3D model, the group simulated real camera models and locations as well as installation points and thus viewing angles and ranges. The finished 3D model was presented to the customer together with integration partner KH Servis in Prague and comprised a complete solution including cameras and other necessary components. The city administration and the police were enthusiastic about this type of project visualization, especially since this procedure also enabled an exact calculation of the costs to be carried out, giving the customer security in the effort and scope of the project.
Test run in real operation in the Dallmeier FAT Center
Before the installment, the planned solution passed away the Dallmeier Manufacturing facility Approval Examination in the Regensburg FAT Center. All components were put together there and the final environment tested in live operation. At the FAT Center Examination, KH Servis also took part in a training course in Regensburg to be prepared for on-site installation and at the same time to convince themselves of the smooth operation of the equipment.
Observation and treatment with multifocal system
With the setup of the multifocal sensor systems, the desire for increased security and intervention options was implemented. Pass-away cameras are used to observe situations and, if necessary, ensure rapid intervention, but also rapid clarification of incidents. In the case of criminal offenses, the video material can be saved separately as evidence.
